I am cheap. I am going to buy a mouse pad with the gel wrist support things. THen I am going to cut the gel piece out and somehow mount it on my shoulder :o

I put 80 rounds through my M38 yesterday....plus 400 rounds through my AK and 30 shells through my 12 gauge. No bruises. My shoulder was getting a little tender by the end of the day but I wouldn't call it painful. That ATI Mosin stock does wonders. I haven't shot it with the steel buttplate and original stock on it, yet, but I imagine the ATI stock helps a lot.

You should come to the next COAR shooters meet in June. We had 24 people show up at the one yesterday in the springs. This next one will be up north somewhere.

13 bucks for a slip on. Helps a LOT. so i got one. The less recoil on the shoulder the more rounds to shoot. More fun,

Consider a vest with padded shoulder area if you shoot alot of stuff with recoil. I got a cheap one from ctd I think, nice for when im shooting mosins, k98, 12g, I usually forget it when I goto the range though :hs:
