Ok, the other thread is getting depressing. It’s not that bad to be single. So what do you currently enjoy about being single that you cant have/do when in a relationship?

    I’ll start;

Freedom to flirt, talk hang out and mess around with whomever

Not watching homo movies or Tv shows

Not risk of anyone cheating on you

    Personal space

Not having anyone to answer if you decide in the spur of the moment to drive down to Miami for the weekend with your boys

Having extra Money to spend on you

Hosting all the keggers, football parties , and night long Madden tournaments you feel like . (I dont do that very often anymore, but dang it. I like to have the option :) )

edit; Not catching any drama if we decide to take somone to a strip club or brothel for their Bday.

Not having to worry about another person.

    The sex.

Being able to go out whenever.

Being able to spontaneously spend time with people, without calling or making plans with two people.

    The sex.

Not being nagged at for doing stupid little things.

Being able to look at porn.

    The sex.

I just like the freedom. I am very selfish and don't have time to worry about other people.

I like the fact that I can do what I want when I want with no reprecussions at all

Being able to wake up in the morning with brushing your teeth, sitting around all day long in your night cloths (or underwear) without worrying what you look like, watching your favorite corny horror movies while you eat your favorite cookies that you bake. Ahh...love times like that.

    poker night
    hanging out with the boys
make out sessions that dont mean a damned thing
dancing, drinking, and not having to worry bout jelousy
    freedom
    cleaner house
    lower food bills
    more money all around
more time to spend with friends
    making my own choices
not having to answer to anyone but myself

singleness isnt bad. i love it. the only time i dont, is when i begain to grow feelings for a close friend....one that i hang out with all the time. then, its just depressing, bc im doing all this stuff with him, but, it lacks that intamacy.

I loved having alone time. Sometimes other people are a distraction. This is why we have seperate offices like my parents :mamoru:

I love the fact that I live a mostly drama-free life; having a girlfriend in the picture usually brings on worthless drama from what I see/hear around me.

In this thread I see a list of things that you guys LOVE about not being in a BAD relationship.

But it's not like I don't sympathize with any of them since I just ended a 3-year one that had been going sour for a good long while. The last 8 months or so really sucked! More crap, less sex, spiraling down into oblivion and her trying to take a "break"... then finding out she cheated on me repeatedly right at the beginning of those 8 months. Coincidence, I think not. And I still tried to give her one more shot, but she didn't want it; yet she was stringing me along anyway. She didn't get away with it for long.

But further venting is for another time and place: elsewhere and in the past :hs:

That's about it, and having lots of money to spend.

Otherwise, I wish I had a girl to be intimate with right now :hs:

I'm just now enjoying being single (I've only been so for a month) and I love the freedom to flirt with who I want, and not knowing what happens next.

The fact that I just got back from Vegas with 8 other guys and not one word. I walked home dropped off my lugage, took sleeping pills, and went to bed.

I can do what I want.

I can pursue my dreams with no negativity or as one girl would say "construction criticsm".

I am improving myself daily by taking classes, learning new things, and reading books.

I know the right one will be someone who will compliment all of this but she has not came around yet.

:werd: to everything you just said....even the end part. Developing feelings for someone gets me into dangerous territory, where intimacy is concerned...

But god, am I glad to be rid of my ex. :o He wasn't the right person for me, obviously; but there were also so many things (i.e. personal space, freedom, not having to buy him food/cook for him all the time) that I missed. :p

I agree for the most part. I need atleast 2 hrs of silence every day. If I dont get them, I get very stressed. But once in a while, silence can be brutally loud.
