Did 10 sets of 3 just for the hell of it.
First few sets hurt my wrist because I kept hitting the bar with my wrist.
Last set I tried to do one with two claps...caught the bar with only the left hand...so that hurt a little.

Anyone have the video of the women doing it?

When do you think you would need explosiveness in pullups? I was thinking maybe climbing something and you had to pullup and jump to another rock or branch. Sounds cool maybe I will try it. Seems like there is some hand eye cordination component as well since you have to grab the bar on the way back down.

Like I said...I kept mistiming in the first few sets but became easier after.

Then I started different grips, single hands and single finger chins.

ok, does he mean one arm and one finger? Or one figure for each arm. One fingure sounds kinda crazy.

Rock climber I saw on tv do 6 reps pretty casually with one arm. And with only a two finger grip. And then swtched hands for the samenumber of reps.

Did the clapping pullups today in my back workout (3 clapping followed by 3 normal) for 10 sets. The bar though was knurled so ended up ripping out one of the calouses on my palm and having blisters on both hands.
