I've liked this stuff for quite a while, but don't consume a whole lot of it. I've heard various things about its nutritional value.

Helps increase metabolism? Its in my detatrim, and it just makes me go to the restroom like 2 or 3 hours after I eat. You can buy that dieters tea too, and that stuff really makes you go to the restroom like every couple of hours, i didn't like it because it dehydrated me too much.

ECGC (in green tea) has been shown to block the protein HSP90 which is linked with a few different cancers. The polyphenols have been shown to increase metabolism as well.

only the extract benifits you. Drinking it you retain almost nothing.

Its been noted mainly for an increase in meto.

Well, I don't want to take the extract. I just wanted to see if drinking the actual tea would do anything. It's still low on calories, so I'll still drink it every once in a while.

It has been noted that drinking the tea for the benefits of the ECGC in the tea would require consuming more than 4 cups of tea per day. The extract is a much better way to get ECGC.
