so veggies and salad things...

    Some veggies are really low in cal content, not 0 cal though. It's just that it's almost useless to track some of them, especially since we get bored easily when eating them. If by ''salad'' you mean lettuce, then yes, don't count it. But if you're talking about a salad, then it depends, some dressings can be surprisingly caloric.
