...and they basically said here's your stamp, and thank you for your $200.
It's a Ruger 77/22. It came with OD green panel inserts, but I ordered black ones from Ruger. The scope is a cheap Tasco that works quite well. Tasco has never lost my faith because they all work, and work well. Don't see why I need much more on a .22 rifle. The bipod is a Rock Mount that Walmart sells. I read up on it, and I've owned a Harris before. I figured I'd give it a shot. No complaints thus far.
The can is made by a local guy. Great guy with a great product. I've used other .22 cans, and this is just as quiet as most, more quiet than some others. It's servicable, can be run wet or dry, and he'll fix it if it messes up. I've paid for a .45 can for my USP Tactical .45, just gotta send the forms off.
I got the same letter.
Must be a mass mailing.
i didnt get mine
I'll never get one in the shitty place I live...
they haven't finished the transfer on the stuff my dealer bought yet. So it's a LONG time before I'm waiting for another stamp for me
AG of MI needs to hurry the fukk up and pass those through
i need to decide if i should buy a suppressor for my AR
They're fun; nice not to have to wear ears and all, but still not that quiet. They still go supersonic and have that "crack", unless using subsonic ammo which is expensive and not very effective as far as velocity goes. Might as well shoot a .22 considering the cost.
I could never justify the cost for a silencer on my .22, I don't need ears as it is.
.22LR is still above the decibel level to damage your hearing after sustained exposure. It's not only about not wearing hearing protection, it's pretty damn cool to shoot and only hear the hammer hit, then here the bullet hit the target.
They're to cheap to pass on and they're funny as fuck to shoot.
If you're shooting a .22 without hearing protection it won't be long before you don't need any
I am estimating I should be getting my forms back sometime this week. My BATF examiner has been backlogged nearly 4 or 5 weeks. I may give her a ring today or Monday if I hadn't seen or heard anything by then....
This makes me wish I hadn't given my 10-22 away.
But it would be sweet on my 22-250
Post a really really hi-res picture of the stamp. Ya know, for reference and stuff.
