Noveske barrel - ordered a mid length from rainier, got a "intermediate length" and two inches of gas tube sticking out from the rail 5 weeks after I order one that's supposed to be in stock, I had to make a gas tube myself from a rifle length until my legit one comes in
Vltor VIS - barrel ramps stick out 1/16th of an inch on the barrel so I spent the better part of an afternoon grinding them down to match the upper. It wouldn't even chamber a round.
POF billet lower - magpull mags barely slide in at all much less drop free
YM chrome mp tested bcg - will not chamber a second round at all, tried another one and it works fine
magpull prs and miad - no complaints

    haven't decided on glass

    sucks. :hs:

You could sand down the sides of your pmags to help them drop free.

^wtf sideways sight? never seen one, how's that work? do you just tilt the rifle a little, or does it rotate.

Tilt the rifle. There's no recoil with ARs anyway.

Watch his videos it's pretty cool. He tilts the rifle a little bit for close targets and then holds it upright and/or prone for long distance. Easy to switch back and forth, fucking badass idea.

Instead of Frankengun, you should've just had a reputable manufacturer build you one from quality components. Noveske rifles don't cost that much more, and you would know it worked.

why didn't you send the VLTOR back to them and let them fix the ramps for you :o

The PMAG's will be tight in the POF, it has to do with the aondizing of the metal. my BGC was a pain to get into the VIS the first few times because it was so tight

I had the same problem with my pmags. It is a production error for like june 2007. There are two little bulges on the spine that you have to sand down to make them drop free.

You should know that common sense & logic have no place on OT or any of the subforums.
