So they make front loading DVD burners?

    You know like a cd player in a car. :dunno: I never see any, but that would be pretty cool.

    AFAIK, Pioneer and Plextor both make slot-load DVD burners.

    Pioneer used to. dunno if they still do. They suck, for the most part. Stick to tray-load

    The plextor one looks really nice. :dunno: I did want to go for one of those so what makes them suck? Do the slot loading mechanisms fail sometimes or something?

    they were very prone to jamming, and eating discs. They have more or less got rid of the design, so I'm sure some problem was present.
