So, the last 2 DVD's I've ripped w/ Handbrake didn't rip audio correctly...

Appearantly many newer DVD's have copy protection, and all you get is some repeating, annoying dialogue instead of the movie's actual audio track. Anyone know of a good workaround for this?

Ditto to mac the ripper. You trying to copy, backup, put on your iPod, what? Quicktime Pro is like $20 with my school's discount, and makes movies way easier for iPodage.

OK I did rip it with MTR. I was wanting to rip it as a divx/xvid/h264 or whatever it's called. When I opened the folder w/ handbrake, it still outputted some annoying repeating audio track. I know it's some sort of copy protection, because it did this last time I tried to rip a DVD. When I play the files from the video_ts folder through VLC, they audio works fine. When ripped with handbrake, not so much :(

Anyone? The audio throughout the movie is some annoying commentary, and I can't figure out what's going on.

Well I think I figured it out. I no longer have the DVD, but I did rip it to my HDD. I used Toast to burn it to disc, then used Handbrake to rip said disc. It's ripping right now, hopefully it comes out OK. The DVD plays well from the DVD Player. Hopefully in creating the actual disc with Toast, any copy protection or other issues I was having will go away. If not, I guess I'll just keep it on DVD. I prefer to burn my divx/xvid/etc movies to DVD so I can have multiple movies on one disc, but if that's not an option, I can live with it :hs:
