If you don't report your weapons stolen and they are used in a crime they can sue you. :greddy:

They keep trying to pass shit like this at the state level.

Who do you have to report it stolen to? The city itself will file civil charges against you?

Let's be fair and extend that to stolen cars used in hit and runs, stolen lap tops used in id theft and stolen baseball bats used in mafia beatings.

    :ugh:

I can't imagine not reporting a stolen weapon anyway - wouldn't you want to make an insurance claim?

at first i thought it was ok, but in situations where you may not have known that you are missing a gun would result in you getting blamed.

ie. you were away from the house a few days when someone got your guns and used them

That is what is called an alliby (sp?). That would be a rare case. But, if someone knows they are missing some firearms and do not call... it is just retarded.

It could come back to haunt them many many years from now. Usually stolen weapons stay within the scumbag community and, eventually, a crime may be committed with it. :hsd:

Wow. So are they gonna round up all those lazy cops and swat team members who get stuff stolen out of their vehicles like you always hear about? I doubt it.
