How would my 6 years in the Guard effect my pay rate? I've probably accumulated somewhere around ~2 years of active service, so would I be getting O-1 pay with 2 years?

there is an O1E-O3E pay scale not sure how many years you need in to qualify for that though

4 years and 1 day Active Duty time is the requirement for O1E pay. You may get O1 < 8 years (which I think is the same as regular O1)

Your guard time counts towards your pay entry basic date "PEBD". For example I have 10 years active duty time and three years guard/reserve time. I get paid for 13 years total service for pay purposes.

You would receive pay for your active duty time from basic training and AIT, and your 6 years of Guard time. From what you posted you would be paid for 6+ years total service time.

Your basic active service date "BASD" is the date that determines total active time served for retirement purposes. Completely different than PEBD.

Goes up almost $600 at the 2 year mark for O1's.

Better than no increase, but it still doesn't beat O1E
