I want to cry. I'm so sad that I don't want to live any more. It's just too painful. No...I'm not going to do anything about it, but this is the only place I feel that I can say that.

I've been where you are in my past, and all I can say is this:

Stop wallowing in it, and stop crying for attention.

Instead actually do something about it. People don't really give a fuck, and even with all the people who will say 'aww, poor baby', you will still feel empty and alone.

What you need to do is start solving your problems. Do them one at a time, pick the easier ones to solve first. Before you know it, you will actually like yourself again.

just make it to the next day. don't worry about it getting better, just make it to the next day.

It will get better. No you won't notice the improvement, because its gradual.
But the improvement will happen anyways.

    Sorry its been so rough.

And yeah, this is a safe place. Let it out here.

well if you really feel so strongly about this issue. you should talk to someone. you can't keep everything all bottle up and expect things to change. talk to someone family, friend, or if it's really serious called a suicide hotline.

I've tried it all...talking to friends and family, to psychologists, to people in a divorce support group, but nothing helps the feeling of betrayal and the loss. I'm lonely, but I can't make myself get out there to find someone else. If I did, he'd probably be the poor rebound guy. I don't want to take advantage of anyone or make them pay the price for my ex's screw-up. And the thing is I know he is going through his midlife crisis, which will pass eventually. But by then our lives will be shattered into so many pieces, it probably won't be reparable. I take life one day at a time, but when night falls and I'm alone in that bed, the pain is unbearable and I think about bad things.

Trust me, the 'poor rebound guy' won't feel so badly off if you give him some action
