God it must suck driving those things over here, the parking spots are already big for my s-10

But where the hell are people getting these? Quite a few skyline GTR's, newer vettes and other pretty expensive cars... I dunno how people afford these shits

A bunch of SF dudes are getting H's with their 100K reup bonus.

BTW, Steelers are going to kick the Broncos ass.

Well, if germany is anything like Fort Bragg it means people are getting deployed left and right. Which basically means that they can afford expensive POVs. I bought 2006 Scion tC in November when I got back. I know it's not that expensive, but it's paid off and I don't have to worry about insurance for a long ass time because that's paid off for six months. I know NCOs here with Saleen Mustangs, BMWs, Mercedes-Benzs and Dodge Vipers. And I'm going to volunteer for another deployment ASAP.

Oh yeah... My Platoon Leader (got promoted to O-2 over there) bought a fully loaded Infiniti G35... which is paid off also. HE's 24 and owns a $40,000 car. Deployment money is amazing.

Naw... there's enough people that buy cars when they come back that they must love it.

Being deployed and saving all their money, coming back with a fairly big wad to spend probably.

Not to mention if they re-enlist and get a bonus over here like some of the guys I have seen coming out of here with 45k or so.

    Tax Free FTW

Yeah, I'm lower enlisted and I didn't make an attempt to save money over there (not that I could buy anything on post... Amazon.com just saved my life over there) and I came back with enough to pay for a car in cash (not to mention the $10,000 I had set aside for a new car before I left) and then still be able to throw cash everywhere I felt like.

By the way, the guy in the car above me walked out to it like it was hot shit just after he got it shipped over... walked by me as I was doing something to my truck and laughed... got into his car and tried to start it without pushing the clutch in. Fucker lept forward about 6 feet :bowrofl:

He just started and drove away not looking at me
