or should be (damn Michigan weather), what's your favorite type of picture to take?

I love taking pictures of a fresh snowfall. I've considered pictures of people ice-skating (outdoor preferably, but indoor might work better with my dinky P&S).

Here's some shots I took last winter. Critique, give me some ideas, post yours, whatever. Don't critique the off-balance horizons, I know about that already. I could PS them and fix it but I don't care enough.

It's a Canon Powershot A75, and the only editing performed was a resizing. Those were taken long before I discovered PS.

Yes, I'll be going to the NAIAS, I usually have some friends that can get tickets for the VIP event which makes taking pictures a hell of a lot easier.

That needs to be turned into a "Do Not Want" for the main forum.

    :o

I never got into changing too many settings with the camera itself. I do however use some of the simple adjustments that the camera has like color balance, I didn't in those pictures though.

What do you change on the settings to get the snow to stop being off-white?
