Dunno if it's real or a repost, but WTF VR???
If it's real that's going to cost way more than anyone should pay for a 50mm prime. And I don't really see how VR can really help photos taken with a 50mm unless you really want to take long exposures and a tripod would be cumbersome. That would be a really niche set-up.
I'm not a big fan of the 50mm ... but I think Canon's is around $1200
It's 1.2 ... 1 point fuckin 2 ... you don't need VR when you apature is so big you can go in your closet and still get highlights
That's kind of where I was going with the ninja edit. But like I said, a really small niche (maybe 5 photographers in North America) will actually have a need for this.
Clear voyeur shots even in low/no light. Hurray!!
I think so
on the inside rim of the lens in the far back it says AF, not AF-S.
Good lord. Has to be fake. As said, and said, and said. VR on a 50 1.2??
It's gonna be on a pod anyway if it's a timed exposure..wow
i hope this is real
if its real, thats gunna be really fucking expensive.
Link to press release from Nikon, or it's fake.
witty comments in 2 minutes...
gotta go change my pants first.
i soiled them.
Reading the thread title, for some reason I thought it would be about a camera to compete with Canon's Mark III. I haven't followed the Canon/Nikon thing for too long. How long does it normally take before Nikon announces their next big camera?
You missed the D100 thread, anyone have the link
