I already have 24mm covered with the 14-24. Where is the 35mm 1.4

i would assume a competitor to the canon 17-40 f/4 since the already kill the 16-35 2.8 with the 14-24 2.8

the new Nikon 16-35mm f/4 VR and 24mm f/1.4 lenses will be released tomorrow

    my fucking thoughts exactly

I have been waiting for a proper remake of the 17-35 F2.8 as 16-35 like the L version...

Now this horseshit? I bet they just want people to buy that goofy ass 14-24 (like I did augh).

    God damn it.

I have been waiting for this hogwash. God fucking damn it

I guess...but I feel like everything thats been coming out has been 2.8 from them. Itll depend on the price I guess.

yeah but 16-35 is much more desirerable for walk around than the 14-24... and the 24-70 just is meh... I use it 90% of the time at 50mm... so it is an over priced 50mm prime to me.

Might actually have to buy that 5Dm2 I was joking about so I can get the 50mm 1.2

I like the idea of the 24/1.4

And geez...VR on a 17-35? So you can handhold 3 seconds?

My thoughts exactly as to why make an f4. Though I guess you can always crop the 14-24 incamera to give you "extra reach"?

Actually quite interested in the 16-35, if the IQ is nice.

Would love a light FX wide angle lens to walk around with.

Yeah, agreed. I did read a while ago on NikonRumors that it would be an FX lens.. But you never know until it's actually announced.

depending on reviews i might toss the 17-35 f/2.8 afs, if the 16-35 is sharper in the corners.
