Fucking thing sucks.
How big is the DDoS?
10 requests per second is hardly a ddos
time to raise your advertising rates, and to show that as proof, that the site gets 4,001,000 uniques per month
it is when you are on a shared server
Do you use mod_evasive or have anything in front of your servers?
Lulz, try 9000/second.
Depending on the type of ddos, haproxy in front of your web server can screen http traffic and can handle tens of thousands of concurrent connections on moderate hardware.
It seems to be several types of attacks at the same time.
Who is your provider and what are they doing to mitigate at the moment? We've been looking at prolexic or similar... shits expensive
I got serverorigin, they're working on it.... site loads every once in a while now... but goes down after that. Beats the 24 hr total downtime before that....
what fucking site asshole.
no modification to your server is helpful unless the attack is blocked at the routers end. blocking at the server end does nothing, pipe is still flooded anyway
It depends what type of ddos.
sell it on DP
