hey guys so yeah Ive been taking a class at a tech school and I'm on my third week. Around week 9 is when we take the first A+ cert and the technician one at week 12. I have a help desk job set up for me as soon as I finish the program here which is a good start Im probably going to end up getting a second part time job that is more hands on so I can get some more experience in.

Two weeks under my belt and those first two weeks sucked and I haven't learned anything new. Luckily this week we start learning how to trouble shoot and fix stuff. Making progress slowly but surely. Cant wait till I get done so I can get a job in the IT field and leave this security guard crap behind me.

How does the A+ testing work? Do you take both, one after the other or at separate times?

You have to book them individually, either on the same day, or whenever.

Good for you. That drive for succeeding is what will keep you motivated.

And once you're done, don't stop there. Solidify your skills, learn about other technologies too, and make sure you get certified afterward.

    Good luck on the exams.

thnx passed the cert awhile back during the summer. The economy has been ruff though I havent found a job I can get my foot in the door with yet. I might be moving to dc so I can get some more exp and then from there branch out into networking etc.

You trademarked that shit? Fuck man, I knew someone was going to do that someday. Looks like I'm back to saying "Cheers" and "Alrighty then".

EDIT: I mean, "Cheers™". That's right bitches. Now I can sue England! :fawk:
