The current situation...My roommate and I just moved out of an apt and into a house about 2 weeks ago.

Last night my roommate, a couple friends of mine, and me were sitting around bull shitting. All of a sudden they say well should be tell him? I was like WTF?!? They said that about 2 months before we moved out of the apt they were sitting around (a couple of my friends have guns) cleaning their guns and watching tv. Well they traded pistols and were comparing the spring tension when pulling the slide back.

Well all was well and "friend 1" gave "friend 2" his pistol back but did not tell him he put the mag in. "Friend 2" pulled the slide back to feel his again just for comparison, his hand was over the top of the slide so he did not see a round chamber. He then proceeded to dry fire the gun and shot a hole in the wall.

This was done when I was at work. They said that the living room was all smoky and smelled like power and that they were all like deaf for 2 days.

I had no idea haha... fucking dumb shit!:o:rofl:

S&W .40 btw.... I guess it hit the baseboard heater went up and into a stud. They fixed the wall later that day and I had no idea. They didnt want to tell me until after we moved out and the landlord had given us our deposit back. They knew I would be pissed... good call on that one. :coolugh:

To top it all off not one of our neighbors called the cops.... :ugh2:

:werd: You never hand someone a loaded gun and you always assume a gun is loaded whenever it's handed to you.

They would be out of my life immediately. All my friends know better, and if they didn't, they'd be dropped in a hurry.
I can't hang around people that can't think properly. I hate stupid people as it is.

It wasn't my room mate. It was 2 of our friends that were just over hanging out.

Dry firing means ammo gets put away and you go in another room.

Always, always, always check the chamber and magwell when someone hands you a gun :hs:

I'd call the cops on their ass's too. I don't want my neighbor firing live rounds into the wall anywhere near me.

My CCW instructor had a ND with his 9mm. It happens to the best of us, and I haven't had one yet. :knockonwood:

Odds are the neighbors might not have known it was a gunshot. Could of been a car back-firing, or something else loud. :dunno:

Unless you live in the superghetto where people hear shots all the time, a single shot will probably get written off as a backfire or firecracker or something. My experience is people who've never heard don't even think of gunfire until there are several shots, and even then often aren't sure. :dunno:

Don't you remember Red Dawn? "Never fire more than once, they'll track you!"
