cliffs: took ecy stack, heart rate and blood pressure not so good, felt like i was gonna die (stil may die? ), learned lesson. i've been playing around with an ecy stack on and off for several years now. normally, i take it as an energy boost on days i need a lift. yesterday, i took 75mg e, 600mg c, and 22mg y, throughout the day. about an hour after my final dose, i noticed my heart rate was getting a tad too high. i let it go and tried not to think about it.. a few minutes went by and i could feel no improvement. i measured my "resting" heart rate and was shocked when it came back at 150ish (give or take). i think i worked myself into a mild panic attack at this point because i measured about 10 minutes later and i was at around 200bpm!! i asked someone to take me to urgent care. i signed in and stood at the front desk. nurse: take a seat, we'll call you soon me: can i see someone? like now? they took me in right then and there and my resting heart rate was varying between 120-160 while i was there, blood pressure was also high at over 140. the doc came in and asked if i was on cocaine or other amphetamines, i told him about the ecy stack. he did an ekg and it came back ok, with a heart rate of 100bpm - the doc said while the readings where normal, the 100bpm couldn't be right. he told me he wanted to give me valium to calm me down, but they had run out over the weekend. he then told me that i could either leave with a friend and go to the er for treatment or they could have me leave in an ambulance. i opted to have a friend drive me. i got to the er about an hour later and the nurse took my heart rate again.. i was down to 110 (this is approximately 3.5 hours after my last dose). they sat me down and i waited in the er waiting room for 2 hours before they called me in. i felt like i had calmed down quite a bit by the time i was pulled into triage. the nurse told me the doc wanted to hook me up to an iv and do another ekg. i asked her to take my pulse before moving forward.. came back at 89. no great, but obviously much better. i declined treatment and went home. i still have my ekg with me and i may go back to the er if things get bad. my pulse is still around 86-95 consistently, i also have shortness of breath. i'm gonna run to employee health services in a bit and have my pulse and blood pressure checked, we'll see what they say. in the meantime, i've dumped all of my stimulants. i feel like an idiot that this happened to me, considering all the research i've done. all in all, i think i've learned an important lesson, and feel far less involnurable than i did when i woke up yesterday morning (which is probably a good thing).
