With their finger, when my car is dirty as hell. After spraying the dirt off i can still faintly see some of what they wrote - obviously the paint is scratched from the dirt between the car and their finger. How can i get rid of this? thanks

Actually, that would be the most valuvable insite of any post in this thread.

Personally, i would have broken all of their fingers. But thats just me.

You will have to put in ALOT of elbow grease to get that kinda of micro marred swirling out of your paint by hand.

If you have access to a Random Orbital buffer, you can get them out with relative ease with the right products.

Better soltuion yet would be to call a local detail shop and ask what they would charge to polish it out. No full service detail, jsut a wash, and a buff out of the maring. SHouldent cost you more then $40-50.

Try some Meguiars ScratchX, if the scratches aren't too deep, that might work. I'd get rid of those friends too.

so i would need a PC for a job like this? They really aren't to deep, i would take a pic but i don't own a digi cam.

    EDIT: Thanks scott

Cant really say without a pic. But it sounds like scratchX and a wax over it would cover it up for sure.

No, scratch X is meant to be used by hand.

... and ditto the comments on breaking fingers :eek3:
