Odd, although it makes sense as Browning doesn't actually make any handguns, just markets and stamps them. I have a friend who has a BDA .380, but it's much different than that, more baby HP IIRC.

BDA in .45, shoots really well. It's usually too hard to explain the whole browning/Sig thing, so I usually just say it's a P220.

    I know :naughty:

...........I wonder if my dad knows there are under 1k of these floating around. Have to make sure he doesn't get rid of it, even though he probably wouldn't.

Never know. My dad had some sort of WW2 German handgun that was really weird and small/fat. There were only 19 of them in the US marked with a certain proof that were bring backs and thus not marked by importers.
He ended up selling it a few months ago. So rare that the serial no of his gun was printed in a hard back collectors book he owns.

Hope your dad doesnt let it go.

If your dad knew what he had then he probably got what it was worth.

The grips were replaced with some hogue grips modified to fit and the magazine was nickel plated years ago. So noone wanted to pay him what it was worth

If it had a bunch of bubba shit on it then it wouldn't be worth as much.
