    1 set of dumbbells from 5 - 50 pounds
no other form of free weights.. about 7 or 8 machines total. A guy working there said he lobbied for a weight-assisted dip/chin-up machine and should be getting it in a few days

    at least it's free.

I'm thinking I need to join a regular gym... but all the 24hour-type gyms are expensive

IMO get them to add 50-100 pound dumbells and you'll be set for a while. You can do quite a few exercises with those.

Of course having more equipment and weights helps, but it depends on your goals.

You can still do a lot of stuff. Doing split stuff might help but having at least a barbell would provide more possibilities.
