A&P So my buddy just bought a 14-24 and a 24-70

    I wan't that 14-24 badly.. thing is supposed to be like the holy grail of ultra wide zooms.. sharper than a lot of primes people say.. which is nuts..

    Spending another $1500 on camera gear right now though would not be smart.. haha.. stupid hobby.

    14mm full frame. That's about 9mm on a crop sensor. No way you're not going to get distortion, with any lens.

    According to reviews it's sharper / better.. but i don't know about significantly.

    If you read the 16-9 lens tests, it destroys all other wide angle zooms. In fact, it's better than most primes, with only a few exceptions. Even at 24mm (zoomed all the way in; the weak part of most ultra-wides), it pretty much matches canon's very good 24L.

    its an address i borrowed to buy the car when i returned from a trip to korea. had to provide the dealer w one to purchase, and i moved several times since.
