Laptop is powering down now at 42% charge remaining, iStat reports 92% health, 1065 cycles. Is there anything I can do, or just suck it up?

If it's under a year apple will replace it for free. Otherwise, just order one from Apple or eBay.

:hsugh: that can't possibly be true.

    a) no LiIon battery is supposed to be stored at 100% charge
    b) the heat buildup kills the life

Search on google for high capacity MBP battery. Its amazing how long it lasts. My friend has it and I am waiting for mine to bite the dust before buying it. Its $99 shipped I believe.
