    I have had extremely swollen lymph nodes and a sore throat for about 3 days now. I went to the hospital yesterday after it was difficult to swallow/breathe and then today I went again to run more tests. Turns out I have mono :wtc: For the next couple of weeks they want me out of the gym and resting, no running, its hard to eat because of the throat soreness... Just as I finally broke over 200 lbs too (205 as of a few days ago). This sucks :wtc::wtc:

    Sorry to hear that but set backs are part of life. Just keep your diet in check and hit the gym when you are filling better there should not be any real lose for a few weeks.

    You have to take care of your immediate health first. Rest up, eat right, and stay away from exercise for a while. Best of luck with a fast recovery.

    My friend got mono 2 months ago...had it for a month and couldn't go to the gym at all.

    Suffer through the pain and eat but not over your maintenance, and make sure you keep the protein at an adequate number.

    protein shakes nigga, sleep like a rock too, I'd get a hold of some ambien and try and sleep really solidly

    :hug: Just focus on getting better. If you run yourself into the ground now you'll end up with more time off than if you just take the time off now :hsd:
