[ I must be the only one.........
That thinks this fight reminds me too much of Shamrock vs. Franklin. Given Lesnar did land some shots and looked Massive against RANDY. The punch that dropped him looked phantom to everyone at my house. Maybe I put away to many Fat Tires but that shit looked like a flop. The first few post drop hammers scared me but then I was like WTF with the head massage elbows ..... and finally a stoppage...... :dunno:]

He was hit near the ear/back of the head. That can easily wobble your legs even if it doesn't look that hard.

    Ask GSP.

A 275 pound ball of muscle with 2 pound fists is always gonna do damage when he connects.

I thought it was amazing fight. Seeing Randy actually push Lesnar around made me jizz my pants. When he went for that high crotch I jumped out of my chair cause I thought he was gonna get it. Same thing when he landed those punches and cut Lesnar. He was doing really well considering what he was up against.

I thought it was a glancing blow at first too until they played the replays that showed his fist bouncing off his temple.

it was an impressive fight for both fighters. At first I thought it was an early stop, but then I saw randy fall down when he tryed to get up.

I thought randy did a good job of imposing his will against the cage despite lesnars strength. And I thought lesnar did a good job dealing with getting hit for basically the first time in his career, although I thought he might lose it when he was cut and he reached for it a couple times...

The whole bar just about exploded when randy picked lesnar up with the single leg. I was impressed with everything randy was able to do against that big of a man, but you could see him struggling where he normally dosnt.

    Great fight and great card.

I remember when they first announced lesnar was going into mma. I was super happy and excited. Now I just hope they find him in a seedy hotel bedroom, dead with another man's cock lodged in his mouth.

For some reason, he just comes off as a huge jackass. Good fight though, for a while I thought Randy was going to win.

 So who is Lesnar going to have to beat before he gets any respect as a fighter? He put Randy's lights out and people are still making excuses.

I thought the ref let it go on maybe a little too long. Couture was done for sure after about 2 of those shots on the ground.

But at the same time, I can understand not wanting to be accused of an early stoppage on a fight like this.

I respect him as a fighter. But i don't think he'll defend his belt successfully

aBecause nog is a much worse matchup for lesnar than randy was. He is bigger, much better off his back, used to fighting freakshow size from pridedays...

God damn Randy fans as a whole tend to whine relentlessly and act like they have only seen the last 3 fights of his.

OMG, he almost got a single leg.
He stunned Lesnar, I was so impressed
    Lesnar landed a lucky shot

just stop. Randy got handled, it wasnt an early stoppage, he ate more shots than just about any ref would have possibly allowed. His boxing looked like dog shit. He stopped some takedowns and held him against the cage, I guess we should be impressed. And he ate multple big shots by a freakshow opponent.

Randy was never that good to begin with, and Lesnar may very well beat every HW he faces do to sheer freakshow strength, big whoop.

The biggest shame is that we dont get to see Randy vs Nog, but lesnar nog will be a great matchup.

To me, getting handled is a kin to getting dominated. There was no domination on either side. It was a lot of boxing and laying against the cage. Randy cuts brock, brock lays out randy, and pounds him out for the win.

Neither fighter looked spectacular, but nobody got "handled".

Yeah Randy is overrated and I don't like his style. But he was executing his gameplan perfectly, and his boxing is what let him down. He needed to be way more cautious and take Lesnar into later rounds first.

I can't believe Heath Herring did better against Lesnar than Randy. :hs: I still look forward to whoever Lesnar fights next. I think Big Nog would submit him if he goes to the ground, and I'd like to see Frank beat Lesnar again just to have a former champ work his way back up to get the title again.
