I've brought it in many times before, but this time, he requested it.

He had heard that this new gas airsoft M4 we are now carrying was build to spec as the real thing, so he wanted to check it out.

    It wasn't :mamoru:

Oh my God! That's the coolest fucking story I've ever heard in my life! Can you tell it again? Do you have time?

Yeah airsoft usually isn't identical. Some of the shit I've seen is impressive tho, those Asians sure know how to copy shit.

WHAT?! An airsoft rifle wasn't exactly like the real thing?!

LOL, I remember when news of the Western Arms gas blow back M4 hit the interwebs, and the tin foil hatters were wondering if you could slap on an upper onto the airsoft lower...

Why bother man. An illegal lightning link doesn't really take much beyond two sawz-all blades, a dremel, and a file to make.

Of course, if you own an AR and literature on how to make a LL you can get nailed for "constructive intent" and find yourself at the mercy of the BATFE.

    :ugh:

Yeah, this was on the WE M4 Gas Blowbacks. The thing functions like the real thing, but is nowhere near the real thing in terms of quality and parts.
The only thing I could get on was the pivot pin on either lower/upper. rear takedown lug would not sit into the receiver.

    Magwells fit mags okay though.
