So I went from 285 to 230 and now I have a shit load of extra skin and a ponch belly. I can't really afford to go to a gym nor do I have a lot of time to work out ... how could I get rid of this ponch and the extra skin at my knees and under my arms?

    Help an ex-fatty out :x:

What's the excuse on why you don't have a lot of time to work out. It doesn't require much.

    cut it with a razor.

I don't know what kind of magical answer you're looking for, but you had the determination to lose the initial 55. Make time to work out and finish the job.

Busy at work and at home ... it's more the money for a membership at a job that is not going to happen ... I could make the time but I'm looking for something I could do at home for free

A shit ton of pushups and sofa/coffee table squats.

Or pony up the $25 a month for a gym membership. Seriously, you're worth it. Find some old stuff laying around the house and sell it on ebay. Or all those old clothes that don't fit anymore. You can get $20 out of that.

you probably have some sort of daily habit (morning coffee, a smoke, etc) that could save you enough for a gym membership

and notice people are ignoring your "no time to work out" excuse, because we all know that's bullshit

I just said that I don't have a lot of time to work out ... not no time.

I know that I could put an hour a day into it or at the very least 1 hour every second day ... what I'm looking for is something I can do at home

30 mins to the gym 1 hour workout 20 mins to clean up and 30 mins to get home ... that is something I can't get into right now ... but 1 hour at home doing crunches or sit ups is something I can do.

going to the gym is just not going to be an option at this point ... maybe later in the summer but not now.

Also ... is working out going to get rid of the extra skin I have hanging off of me? or is it just going to tone the muscle under the skin sweater?

20 minutes to clean up? What happened? Did you piss all over yourself or something? That sounds like extra time wasted to me.

while skin is elastic, it will only shrink a bit, less if you were fat for a long time.

putting on some muscle will help a bit but most likely, you'll have to look to surgery (lower body lift I think is the name) to get rid of it.

    extra skin crew FTL :(

    I disagree completely.

If you get your bodyfat low enough, it will go away. The skin still sags due to the excess bodyfat that's still there.

The only way to get rid of excess skin is time or surgery.
