so i've got 200$ and i'd like a 19/21 inch monitor...

    any suggestions as what i should get and where to buy?
    i currently have a 17 inch sony 200gs i've had forever, time to get a new one =)

    + or - 100 $ isnt a big deal either, some of these are alot more than i thought

    $300 bones should get you a good 19" monitor of top grade! 21" is abit higher in the stratosphere. I'd get the 955DF from Samsung. There are other comparable makes and brands. I bought a Dell Trinitron off-lease monitor from a suggestion and it's been great so far. It's worth considering if you dont' mind 2nd hand.

    I can only find Dell's service through their canadian branch, www.dfsdirect.ca maybe email them for the US equiv.

    I bought KDS XF-9e for 198 at walmart a few months ago

    very good monitor too

    I just got a 19inch NEC FE991 for 2 something. much better than my previous 17 inch viewsonic... flat screen 21 inch monitors are a lot more expensive...
