    a bigger harddrive..... any suggestions on where to get a decent deal .... 160-200gb 2.5" sata....

    ive got 12gb for windows xp.... its getting pretty annoying that i can only have 1 installed game at a time....

    From my experience the Western Digitals perform best in the Macs. I currently have a Seagate I purchased from BB (400gb for $150) and it runs slower than the 250gb WD it bumped from top billing. Both had 16mb caches which helped with some massive file moving.

    I haven't tried Maxtor's, but I've had plenty of them fail on my in the past not to buy them anymore. IIRC Seagate bought out Maxor....oops. :(

    Newegg.com or ZipZoomfly.com both have good deals.

    i would like to avoid wires....
    i have a network storage drive already... .but i want something right in there...

    how much/how hard is it to install a internal to a MBP

    Format the iPod drive to FAT32 and set it so the amount of space allotted to disk use is the entire thing. The only item you gotta plug in is FW/USB cable which can't be that much of a pain.

    Otherwise pay $100 for one of those laptop drives that were posted.

    way easy, you pull out the battery, remove 2 or 3 screws and the hard drive just pops out.
