It's true. I don't see how anyone would actually prefer aperture over Lightroom.
Any particular reason? I've installed both, used neither.
I've been saying this for about a year now
Lightroom is ftw.
I switched from Aperture to LR and now just want to go back to PS.
PS is all i've ever used. I'll check out LR.
Lightroom has all the basic/ intermediate features of photoshop.
I use it to manage my photos and apply quick edits.
If anything needs really good touching up, like portrait shots or something else that is important, or anything that I print, I open it up in photoshop and save it and Lightroom updates that file right away.
I like aperture but I need to give the latest LR another shot
i dont like aperture because its too unlike PS. It would be nice if there was tighter intergration of the two.
Aperture for me for the moment.
I like LR simply because it runs fine on my computer an I can't even run aperture
with LR 2.0, there are very few reasons to even consider Aperture. The book feature is 1, especially with Ap2.0 that there are custom sizes and more export options. But if you know InDesign then its not a problem.
but yeah LR > aperture
i like the features of lightroom better but it makes the fans run on my macbook constantly.
