So, its not necessary to use ';' in javascript

    ive been reading this awsome tutorial all afternoon... so if the ;'s arent necessary, does it still hurt to use them? its just habbit for me to end my satements with either ; or sometimes .

    what tutorial told you you dont need ; ?

    im not a great java programmer but ive never heard of a situation where you dont need them :confused:
