Yeah I am nearing that point at the end of 2006. My enlistment is up in Jan 2008 so I am not too worried about it now, but I still have to look ahead.

2E2 - Most verstile (sp?) field in the USAF

You get to learn a little bit of details from perhaps 6 different fields.
    1. Radio
    2. Satellite
    3. Telephone
    4. 3C0
    5. 3C2
    6. General Electronics

Very verstile job with many many options when you get out. You also will get a Top Secret/SCI with this job. Great job to have to finish up your degree. You have decent amounts of downtime in the office, enough to do some studying / online classes. Just pray you don't get sent to GA or Tinker.

I want to crosstrain into Combat Controll or TACP when it's my time or get out and go back to college. I'm just tired of the Air Force

i thought the b52 tail gun was operated from right near the pilots? not the tail itself?

i'm honestly not sure where the station was, but you're correct, it wasn't in the tail. the gun was a electronically-controlled weapons system if i'm not mistaken. i still think it would have been an awesome job though.
