I saw this post in the main OT forum: Quick background: I'm eating much cleaner than I ever have and I believe over the last few weeks I have lost some weight. I have also been going to the gym much more often and lifting more. Is it correct that despite my efforts, I cannot gain muscle and lose fat at the same time? I am not new, I have been casually lifting for about the past 2 years, twice a week or so. If that is so, I'm not sure what I am to do. Spring is here, I don't want to turn into a fat ass, but at the same time, I'd like to see growth in certain areas like my shoulders. Advice?
