A&P So it appears have a scratch on my 35 1.8 lens... what the hell?

    Took it off camera to cap it, and I notice a weird mark on the inside of the lens. I guess it was there since new, because I sure as hell don't touch the back side of the lens.

    Oh well, I guess I will never notice it in a pic since the tightest aperture I use on that lens is like f/4. I use it mainly for 1.8-2.8.

    Still chaps my ass.

    ok, i dont think i want to look at my lens with a flashlight. i might not like what i see :mamoru:

    i'm always super careful and never use my camera when drinking. i dont get it.

    If it doesn't effect IQ, don't worry about it. Life is too short to worry about scratches on a $200 piece of glass and plastic.


    Sucks though...

    yeah and thanks to seeing the post where that guy destroyed his $100 sony lens to show how much damage you need, i'm not worried. ESPECIALLY how wide open i shoot the lens. i might notice something at like f/22. but who shoots a prime at f/22 lol
