And I've still got the following things to complete. :o
I located a Complete LMT lower assembly with the sopmod and 2 stage trigger today. Going to plop a 16" LMT upper on that baby.
My form 1 for my 9" 9mm should be back this week or next week
After that I'll be buying lots of mags and ammo.

the more i think about it, the more i realize that everyone on WMD (in different states) has such unique positions on the potential bans that loom on the horizon.

take for instance california crew. a good portion of us dont own any registered assault weapons. we have to alter our guns to conform with SB23 and the ban lists.

now take for instance texas. while you all were affected by the federal AWB that ended in 04, and despite the ban you were still able to own functioning weapons (more so than the mickey mouse shit that CA residents have to jump through).

now, if a ban rolls around after november, most california residents would be happy to register their rifles if it meant "freedom" to have them assembled as they wish, but at the same time residents of other states are vehimately opposed to registration of firearms.

When the 94 ban rolled into affect I couldn't even buy guns. So now is my chance to buy what I can, I figure that I might as well have it. I'm more or less supplementing what I already have. (ARs)

    i'm thinking Oregon :hs:
true, but you still could have bought rifles that didnt need the magazine pinned. you just need a fixed stock, no flash hider and no bayo log, right? :o

Hopefully someone else is doing the engraving :big grin:

I think those CA people would be being short sighted though, how many times has CA used that registry to take what people already had? I can think of at least 1 example.

don't really think there's anything on my to buy short list other than some more components.

i'm not saying that i like the idea of firearm registration (i fucking hate it), but if i had the chance to register my guns or abide by SB23 et al. i would register them
