what kinda jumping?
That's good work for you privates. Too bad it was such a nice day here. I went to the range. We put down 12,000 rounds between the 9 of us.
haha , nice
You know you're in the Army when the first thing that you think about upon reading this post is how long it's going to take to clean your weapon.
Now if you had one of the test bed M4's that vent to the outside before the stock and use a piston to manage the shell ejection...then no cleaning of the weapon!
Haha it get's better. We barely broke down our M4's and M9's. Wiped bolts and chambers down. Threw some more CLP back into them and put back together. It was Friday, 3pm and time to go home They'll prob finish them up Monday but I'm taking off for enjoyable Louisiana to do a little OC/E'ing.
As long as you keep the right parts in the M4's relatively clean and keep it lubed it will function pretty well. We rarely have issues. With the M9's the locking blocks break alot and we just discovered two slides that were cracked after shooting.
Turbo..We need our FN SCAR's with the gas piston operation. HK 416's would work as well A couple guys bought POF 10in M4 Uppers for downrange. They're also gas operated.
Sorry that's up to the senators to work out amongst their states...
Oh yah and when you have that many rounds to shoot and you get tired of doing transition drills, controlled pairs, double taps etc you start doing 100yd M4 Full Auto bursts, M9 shots at 100yds etc lol. Then I finished it off with about 400rds through the M240B. Don't shoot that thing with just a tshirt and no gloves. The brass likes to hit knuckles and burn your hand and arm
gattin out in just tshrt and gloves? what unit are you with?
The kind that doesn't have to shave or get a haircut.
Haha I wish. I shave but my hair is a little long.
Must have pissed someone off ... or something stinky ass humvees
You don't have any hair to cut...
