my life is and always has been influenced heavily by music and i'd kinda like to pay tribute to it by getting a bass clef (signifying that my music education started with trombone) on one of my shoulder blades. what do you think? cliche? unoriginal?

People have done it, but it's one of those thigns that's still okay.
Like drama masks, really. Alot of people get them tattooed, but the theater is just very important to alot of people.
Course with drama masks, alot of people get them done for other reasons.

If that's what you want, go for it. Alot of people do get the same tattoo (not saying everyone will have that tattoo or anything) but the chance of you running into someone who has it is slim. But if you did it would be kinda akward, haha.

I have a combined bass/treble clef on my leg. I love it, but the only downside is some morons think its tribal or some sort of weird $ money sign.

    edit: Heres a pic

Thanks. I designed it myself, but I'm not really sure if that counts all the way because I just combined the 2 symbols.

I know a guy with a bass clef, being a bassist.

    Go for it.
