I have about a year and a half of college left to get my bachelors' and don't know if I should...

    A. Wait to get my degree and then join as an active duty officer.

    or

    B. Join the reserves now, then try to get an officer position while already enlisted, and switch to active duty after I get my degree.

    Suggestions? :hsd:

yea what do you want to do...thats what matters becasue getting selected fro OTS as anything other then a rated officer is about a 25% shot

it's much easier to go straight in as an officer than to get a slot once you're already enlisted.

I went active duty to get my degree but if you're on track to graduate in a year and a half then go for it. I graduate in a year. See you at the OTS boards ;)
