A&P so I'm starting to think that this might have been a bad idea...

a month ago I got the Sony DSCP72. Liked the camera quite a bit, and it does AWESOME day-time pictures.

Tried shooting some night ones last night and it is POOR. If I turn flash off it gets VERY blurry, and still doesnt catch any of light in anything I'm trying to take the picture of.

Anybody have any suggestions for use on that camera?

what setting do you have it on? during the nights, there is hardly any light. so on certain settings the camera will leave the shutter on longer, which in turn, without the use of a tripod, will result in blurry pics.

Does that camera have an indoor or "night" mode that you need to turn on?
