so i'm running now and lifting in the 20+ rep range everyday

    trying to work up to running 3 miles on a wooded trail without slowing to a walk, everyday.

    and working the 20+ reps to build muscular endurance. :greddy:

    It has been shown that high rep work is actually worse than low rep work for increased endurance.

    I believe that is an effective way of training for what you seem to be striving for. A lot of people dont 'have the mentality of gaining as much muscle as possible, but just workign with what they have and improving overall physical health.
