Never owned an ipod. Never touched one. I was messing around with his and now it's stuck on the Solitare screen :o

How do I fix it? :noes:

Is there a sequence to reboot the fuckin thing?

Toggle the top switch from hold to on [do it even if it's already on the on position].

Then hold down the Menu and Center button until the screen goes blank. This will reboot it. The memory and songs on the iPod will not be affected.

I'd change the way songs get uploaded/deleted. I hate how if I delete something from my iTunes, it automatically gets removed from my iPod next time I update it. Plus there should be a way to charge it w/o updating, IMO.

i delete songs off my iTunes all the time and they stay on my iPod. I disabled the automatic update. Its under iPod settings. Just click your iPod icon in iTunes when it is connected and check the box that says manually update songs for this iPod.

Yea, I've done that. It's just kinda confusing at times. Especially since my sister and I share the same computer but have different iTunes. The way I got around my comp automatically updating my iPod was making sure the song quantity exceeded my iPod memory limits. It'd ask me if I wanted it to downsize the song count and I'd just click "no." My iPod would then continue charging w/o fucking with the songs.
