Just got in Houston last night and finally got online.

Brought all my handguns so maybe I can hit up a range while I'm up here. Where's a good place to go?

    I'm by the Woodlands....

    And here's my other H-town thread: http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=2241900

Hotwells (290), Carters Country (Treswig), American Shooting Centers (Westheimer), 59 Range (NOT recommended, don't shoot all your ammo down range you may need some to fight your way back to you car), Top Gun Range (closest to the Galleria and my personal choice)... There's lots of ranges in and around Houston...

On a regular basis I empty the 33rounder...

I empty regular mags, mag drop reload and empty the next as well.

Basically they don't care. I forgot to mention, they rent automatic weapons as well ;-) So that should let you know.

*EDIT* 2pm tommorow at Top Gun. I'll be there... anyone who cares to join me, feel free.

I found some info on the American Shooting Centers and I like the fact that it's outside but the pistol part was like, "This is a slow fire bull's eye shooting range" blah, slow fire?

I also went and checked out Carter's Country and that place was like a freaking zoo and more setup for deer hunters to sight in their rifles... Doesn't look like you could go out there to practice any different positions with your rifle.

Moving to Houston would seriously save me a lot of money in shooting, etc. I need to get out to check out this Top Gun Range.
