paid $600, 80 hours worth of studying then CPR test and PT test (www.nasm.org)........decided to go for it, its what i love hopefully i can get some investors down the line and build up a clientele and start up my own gym and/or PT business.......

so far 6 months of unemployment with a college degree and hardly any responses from bigger companies in the finance/marketing/advertising field has NOT paid off. time to do something else.

I would if all clients were 7+'s, I could never fuck gross pigs like some people I know, I dont care how drunk or fucked up I am. The grossest pig ive fucked was like a 6.5 and I was mortified for about 3 months after showering a lot more than usual. Im weird like that.

Oh, im just going by what the lady said..........she said it takes 80 hours of studying, I guess thats random and depends on the person, but im going to give myself 2-3 weeks, the thing is I have to get certified in CPR BEFORE I go to the exam, and the closest dates to the hospital near me that does it is june 6th anyways :o

Don't really know any successful PT's except 1 or 2. Most of the ones I know actually have 2 jobs. It's basically all sales with bitchy, bitchy clients. Those guys you see training bodybuilders over on muscular development are literally 1 and millions who have landed dream jobs. Similar to coaching athletes.

Good luck though hot stuff, if you love doing it it will help I'm sure.

Of all the guys I know that went the PT route only one of them makes good money now and that's because his dad knows someone and landed him a job being a conditioning coach for a professional sports team.

All the other ones have second jobs and are poor. Most of them actually end up going back to school to get movement science or kinesiology degrees so they can do physical therapy stuff with clients.

Same here, got a NASM cert years ago but didn't do personal training for long, I hated the sales aspect. If sales is your thing and you go private you can make money though.

Depends on your client base. My cousin owns a gym in NYC and we know a few trainers that make mad bank. Same for physical therapists with Masters degrees... some do (a LOT) better than others.
