I went to a hollistic doc and we determined that I'm allergic to whey. It makes sense because I'm allergic to all dairy anyway. However, I always thought it was the lactose but I'm allergic to any form or dairy. So, I was thinking of getting a mix from trueprotein.com made up of beef protein isolate and egg white protein. Thoughts? I want to stay away from any kind of bean or seed protein because I'm highly allergic to beans. They make my bronchial tubes swell up and my throat and mouth itch like crazy.

I was thinking of this mixture:

    40% egg white protein
    40% beef protein isolate
    10% glutamine
    10% bcaa's

Allergic to ALL DAIRY products? Or just lactose intolerant?

I can't drink a glass of milk without farting up a storm, but I can eat pizza with extra cheese no problem. :dunno:

Ray, I don't really like glutamine, but to each their own. I've ordered from proteinfactory.com and trueprotein, and I prefer protein factory.

I have issues with dairy and put together a shake that is similar to what you've outlined, and have had good luck with it. Taste is tolerable, but I really don't care what it tastes like.

He did muscle testing. However, I've been allergie tested by two doctors in the past by sticking my with needles over 100 times in my arm. All of those test concur that I'm allergic to dairy.

Do what you want, but that is not anyway to measure if someone is allergic to anything.

Also, when I drink whey shakes I feel bloated and have trouble losing weight. When I just eat food, I get and stay leaner much easier.

True Protein is awesome! Check out what they said to me when I asked to exchange what I just bought. I just bought 152 bucks worth of protein that I can't use.

    Raymond,

We can make an exception for you this one time since you are a new customer. However you have to understand that we can't just take customized materials back and exchange them. This isn't a product where you can just go purchase it off the shelf, and return if it. Everything is customized to your specifics, so our normal policy is unless we mixed it incorrectly we do not take returns or exchanges since we can't resell the material. Our general manager said if you want to ship the material back to us, we can give you a refund for the sub-total amount but not the shipping costs. Then once the refund takes place you can replace a new order through the site. If you have any additional questions or concerns feel free to get back to us at your convenience. Thanks.

Sounds like you know what do do Ray. Contrary to what alot of people think, whey is not a necessity. I have no problem getting enough food to cover my protein needs. I still do like shakes and love the convenience factor. There are lots of good alternatives (plant based, egg, beef isolate, LBA's, etc).

Dante is a stand up guy, and other than having a small tub of whey around the apt for when I am rushed for time, I just eat real food and use the lean beef amino's
