don't want to do anything damaging. I'm kind of sore all over today, but I planned on doing a few miles on the treadmill tonight. bad idea?

you could wait a day, or you could go tonight and be perfectly fine (don't push yourself to an extreme and a little soreness isn't going to be an issue)

Sometimes working out a sore muscle makes the soreness go away.
