i decided that i would rather pay cash for a new bike, i'm most attracted to the suzuki sv650s, those are on the floor for a lil over 6k. AFter talking to the dealership, and gettin ready to sign on the dotted line, i could get it out teh door for 7,100, including a helmet. How much would i need to walk in there w/ in cash for them to hand on over...No less then MSRP, or could I get a bit lower?

You should be able to get an SVS for under $6500 OTD.

Well, My bank manager told me that whenever you pay cash for anything specially autos you should get atleast 10% off. So I tried this idea when I went to pick up my bike. They were asking $10500 for it and I talked them down to $9500. when I was ready sign the papers I told them that, that my banker had told me if I pay cash I am suppose to get about 10% off so I pulled out $8900 and put at on the table. The sales person went and talked to his boss and his boss agreed to take $8900. I was surprised that they took 8900 for the bike that they were asking 10500.
So I guess you are suppose get it cheaper if you pay cash.

No leases on bikes. That's for financing. Might be able to get it lower if you pay outright.
