300mm f/4.5, and a 58mm f/2, along with an old 35mm body, and a lots of accessories. As well as the sniper grip, of course.
Thats a huge lens...
I'd be terrified of getting shot at using that thing.
does he have the rifle stock?

a family friend "hunts" with a camera set-up like that...he can't stand the idea of killing an animal but he loves to hunt so he tracks/stalks/hunts with that and snaps a picture of what would have been his kill.

I shot with an E all Summer last year. Fucking awesome camera, but the light meter took me a while to figure out.
He sounds like a dirty hippie to me.
I have hunted and tracked deer but have never shot one. To each his own.
yeah that camera woudlnt be the least bit scary looking
I would be hesitant to walk the streets with one of those, imagine tryign to cover an event holding something that resembles a gun!! Yeah you woun't attract any attention.
Whatever you do don't sneak up on a police officer or drug dealer with one of those in your hand
