So i watched Time Machine this weekend on cable

    and i saw the part where the main guy travels to like the 24th century or something and he sees a commerical where they're mining the center of the moon with a 20 megaton explosion. Then he goes inside the library for a while and when he comes back out something goes wrong with the mining project and when he looks up at the moon you see it falling apart.

    I was all :eek: because it looked pretty damned real and i was imagining what it would be like if it actually happened irl. :hs:

    As I remember, the moon somehow fell out of orbit.

    i was hoping that when he traveled 800,000 years into the future, it would look a lot more futuristic than that stupid tribal crap.

    Wasnt the tribal people from 800,000 years into the future a new speices from the human race being wiped out from the moon situation?

    If so, thats probably more realisitic than showing a super advanced species.

    Once we get the moon fixed will have to worry about controlling the sun from expanding in size.... or perfect 11tybillion SPF sunblock.
